Hong Kong and the merry-go-round begins(Posted: 20-01-2012)

Thanks for all the nice comments about the new 2012 Guide that we received at the Hong Kong International Licensing Show last week. It makes it all worthwhile!

Once again the show itself was fantastically presented and run. The people at the HKTDC certainly know a thing or two about customer service.

There was a lot of interest in licensing from visitors drifting in from the HK Toy Fair. Let's hope we can get them hooked into our industry.

I was in the HK Toy Fair on the last afternoon, and it's fair to say it was like being in a massive Toy R Us with a free-for-all clearance sale going on! You couldn't get down some of the aisles for packing cases, trolleys and piles of samples for sale.

It was nice to get out and into the calm of one of Hong Kong's markets!

See you at the London Toy Fair next week, where I hope it will be a lot more sedate....
