BEAR IGNITES PRE-SCHOOLERS’ IMAGINATIONS THROUGH EDUCATION
CAMPAIGN
Television
production and licensing company, Chapman Entertainment has successfully
launched a Little Charley Bear Pre-school Awareness Campaign targeting over
23,000 UK pre-school and nursery managers, with 170,000 children participating
in the Imagination Adventure Pack by taking home an exclusive Little Charley
Bear DVD and activity sheet.
The Little
Charley Bear Imagination Adventure Pack was developed to link to the Early Years
Foundation Stage and inspire children to use their imagination through role
play, games and craft activities. It was developed with education professionals
and the themed activity sheets, stickers and posters within the pack gave
children a chance to fall in love with the characters whilst delivering on
Charley’s brand values of imagination, discovery and play. 94% of schools said
they’d use the packs again.
“The pack was
great for delivering awareness and a deeper level of brand engagement. But best
of all was the word of mouth it generated at the school gates when every child
in the nursery took home a promotional DVD and activity sheet – it was the
icing on the cake to get that viral buzz going,” comments
A Little
Charley Bear Nursery Visit was offered within the pack as a competition
incentive to drive responses. This took place on Wednesday 18th May
at the
Katharine
Giblin, Administrator at the Windmills Nursery said, “Little Charley Bear
surprised the
Little Charley
Bear has the feel of a classic children’s show but with advanced modern
animation. Chapman Entertainment, the creators of Fifi and the Flowertots and
Roary the Racing Car, produced the programme with CGI specialists, Annix, based
at Pinewood Studios. The show is developed using the latest 3D graphics,
featuring film quality fur and lighting techniques.
Narrated by
James Corden, Little Charley Bear uses his imagination to play and go on
adventures where he discovers new things about himself and his environment. The
way Charley communicates his ideas, thoughts and feelings through movement and
role play can aid and educate children all around the world with visual,
auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles.
