RAA THE NOISY LION
British
national treasure, Lorraine Kelly, gets ready to roar on Monday 9th May as the
narrator of a delightful new CBeebies series called Raa Raa The Noisy
Lion, about a noisy little lion cub who’s just finding his
voice.
Joining Raa Raa
on his vocal voyage of discovery are Huffty the elephant, Topsy the giraffe,
Crocky the crocodile, Zebby the zebra and Ooo Ooo the monkey. Together this
merry band of young friends are learning that they can have a lot more fun on
their adventures if they use their communication skills - sounds, gestures,
facial expressions and best of all words!
“I’m very
excited to be involved with this adorable new show. Raa Raa the Noisy Lion is a
hoot,” says Lorraine Kelly. “I love the idea of making learning fun for kids,
and as 2011 is the National Year of Communication, this series is more relevant
than ever!”
And as Raa Raa
and his pals play in the Jingly Jangly Jungle, CBeebies viewers won’t be able to
resist making a din too as they join in the rhymes, actions and stories –
exploring their new communication skills in a very noisy
way!

Raa the Noisy Lion is produced by
Chapman Entertainment (Little Charley Bear,
Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car) and Mackinnon &
Saunders (Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Wes
Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox). It was created by Curtis Jobling, who
designed Bob The Builder - the original idea of
Vision+Media
supported the development of Raa Raa through its Regional Attraction Fund (RAF),
delivered in partnership with the Northwest Development
Agency.
