 LazyTown Live’s first licensee, the Aines Group, recently signed a third production deal for the show, following the successful run of LazyTown Live! throughout South America last year. The Aines Group’s shows are known for their high production value and the group has recently finished their first Latin American tour that was a huge success and generated worldwide attention.

Deals for Books, Magazines and Apparel concluded in GreecePartner Plus, the exclusive LazyTown agent for Greece, has concluded negotiations in three important categories with publishers of books, magazines and apparel. EREUNITES is the Lazy Town publishing licensee for the Greek market with storytelling and colouring books. The first LazyTown Greek book will be launched this month in bookstores and mass market. EREUNITES, an established licensing business in Greece, is very excited about using LazyTown to increase awareness amongst children about health and wellbeing. According to a study undertaken in 2007, 31% of Greek children under 5 are clinically obese.

UK LazyTown Sport Club Adds DC LeisureIt is with great excitement that we are able to confirm a new agreement between master Licensee FitKid Limited and DC Leisure. Starting at the Arena Leisure Centre in Camberley, Surrey, the LazyTown Sports Club powered by FitKid will be integrated in to their full centre offering. This partnership forms a key part of the strategy which FitKid and LazyTown are developing together in the UK and Ireland over the coming 18 months.

New LazyTown Sleep-O-Meter app helps children (and their parents!) have a restful sleepBroken nights, restless sleep and early mornings are often the inevitable lot for parents of young children. The LazyTown Sleep-O-Meter iPhone/iPad aims to assist parents and children (between 3 to 6 years old) to manage night-time and early-morning awakenings by playing out pre-recorded restful messages when the child awakes. This is LazyTown’s first iPhone app and was chosen because of it’s value in encouraging children to sleep as an additional way to promote healthy living choices for active children and parents.
