Smiley ‘pops up’ in Italy
From February 24th until March 3rd Smiley will open its first ever pop-up store in Milan’s fashionable Corso Garibaldi.
The opening of the store will coincide with Milan Fashion Week and is in partnership with Italian licensee Cartorama. As well as a vast range of Smiley and Smiley World products by Cartorama (stationery, plush, jewellery and bags) there will be a selection of various products from other Smiley licensees including clothing by Adventureland, Underwear by Etam, Jewellery by N2, homewares by Nef Nef and Happy Therapy beauty products by Arthes.
The store will also house a mini exhibition of Smiley pop art, an installation of a selection of Smiley Photo Gallery images.
Nicolas Loufrani (CEO of Smiley) says:
“We are very excited to open this pop up shop and test for the first time the concept of a Smiley store. It will be the base for the future development of a Smiley franchise internationally”.
